How to change the IP address on a private port
Step by step: the "Rotate IP Now" button in the Dashboard, the rotation link, the 150-second cooldown, and automatic rotation on a timer.
Every private port has a personal rotation link. Opening the link performs a GET request and changes the IP address — the interface does not matter: you can press the button in the Dashboard, open the link in a browser, or call it from a script.
The IP changes no more often than once every 150 seconds. If you request a change earlier, the link responds with
WAITand the IP stays the same — just repeat the request later.
Changing the IP via the Dashboard
The fastest way is the button in your dashboard:
- Open the Dashboard — the “MY PROXIES” list.
- Click the proxy row (or the “Manage” button) — a side panel will open.
- Go to the “Rotation” tab.
- Press “Rotate IP Now” and wait a couple of seconds — the new address is issued right after the confirmation.
The same tab shows the “Rotate Link” with a “Copy” button — handy when you need to change the IP on request (for example, from an anti-detect browser or a script) rather than manually.
The “Rotation” tab only appears for ports that support rotation. Multiport has none — the IP changes on its own, see Private port vs multiport (backconnect).
Changing the IP via the link
The rotation link is a regular GET request. You can call it from anywhere:

You can regenerate the link: Dashboard → Settings → Security → “Regenerate Rotate Key”. The old link stops working afterwards — remember to update it in your setup.

Automatic rotation on a timer
To have the IP change on its own, set the auto-rotation policy: Dashboard → the “Rotation” tab → “Auto-Rotation Policy”.
Available intervals:
- “Manual” — the IP changes only via the link or the button;
5m,10m,15m,30m,60m— the IP changes automatically once per selected interval.
The API does the same via a POST /api/proxy request with op=set-rotation-policy.
